翟树民,现任谷歌首席科学家(Principal Scientist)。西电3系77级, 研81级；1984至1989年留校从事教学科研。1995年在加拿大多伦多大学获得博士学位。1996至2010在IBM阿尔莫丹研究中心任研究员(Research Staff Member)。2005年担任ACM人机交互大会（ACM CHI）论文委员会主席。2006年入选ACM首届杰出科学家（Distinguished Scientist)。2009至2015任ACM人机交互学报（ACM Transactions on Computer-Human Interaction）主编。学术论文曾获得ACM UIST持久影响奖和IEEE计算机学会最佳论文奖。2010年入选人机交互学院院士（Member of the CHI Academy）和ACM Fellow。2020入选多伦多大学工程学院荣誉堂（Engineering Hall of Distinction)。2021年学术指标：H-Index 76, I10-Index 186, Citations 18658;美国发明专利103项。
报告摘要
AI-infused user interfaces (UI) are emerging as a new Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) paradigm after mouse-keyboard-based PC interfaces and finger-touch-based mobile interfaces. I will use smartphone keyboards used by billions of users daily as an example to reveal the human factors research，computer science advances，and future opportunities and challenges underneath the UI surface in this ongoing transition toward human-AI interaction.
